We often get asked what kind of equipment we use. So, we created where potential clients can come and view what type of equipment we use.
WHAT KIND OF CAMERA DO YOU USE?
- We are currently using a Canon HV30 and a Canon HV40. These are amazing little cameras, between consumer and prosumer, that record in full HD (1080i – 1920×1080), in true 16:9 widescreen. These cameras are arguably the best in their arena, and are very popular.
WHAT KIND OF EDITING SOFTWARE DO YOU USE?
- For our offline edit, we use Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. While it may not be the industry-standard, Premiere Pro is very similar to Final Cut and still makes for a great non-linear editing system, that is often used in the film & video industry mainly for things such as live concert DVDs and documentaries. More recently, it had been used to create Madonna’s live concert DVD. If it’s good enough for Madonna, it’s good enough for us!
- For our online edit (colour correction, visual effects, motion graphics), we use the industry-standard Adobe After Effects CS4. After Effects is an extremely powerful motion graphics and visual effects compositing program, that you will see being used in your favourite TV shows and movies all of the time!
